Asheville.

For my wideshot/portrait/macro project I went to visit my sister up in Asheville, NC. All I pretty much did the entire day was wander and take pictures of things that looked groovy enough to be remembered.
This was a statue that was near the community theatre. This is only the face, but the actual sculpture is attached to the building. I had to kneel to get the shot because it was facing down.

This was across the street from the resaurant we were eating breakfast at. I liked the colors of the buildings in the first place, but the pink vespa in front of it really made a beautiful contrast with the store.
I won't lie. This shot was secretly taken while I was walking behind them. I didn't really think the shot would turn out great, but I like the shadows on them and it made me happy that the couple was matching ( they were both wearing a white shirt and jeans).

I loved this wall. There is a lot of art murals in Asheville, but the graffiti wall was so colorful and the light hit it so well that I had to take a picture of it. The car turned out nicely too.
When I had this photo excursion in mind this was the picture that I was driven to get. The wig shop on the corner is cool just in general, but I love how the mannequins face all the same way. Also the reflection added more color to the picture.

This is only the top of the cities "poster spot" but it always looked really cool to me. Apparently it used to be the book return also..

We were leaving to drop my sister off back at school and I got this shot while I was trying to catch up with them ( I was distracted taking pictures of other things).
This was a flower in a garden that was in the heart of the city. It was sticking up over a wall to a parking lot. It made me happy.

These are the empty Kegs from the Mellow Mushroom ( the biggest Mellow Mushroom in the world. Just so You Know) This was next to their trash.
This man passed by me literally 7 times. He was just chillin around the city. It took a lot of shots to get a good shot of him.

I was originally going to go to the Biltmore as well but it was 200 dollars to get in...so instead I stuck with the inner city, which in my opinion turned out better than what I would've gotten at the Biltmore anyways.
Peace.
